Kuala Lumpur is filled with high-rise buildings, amazing food stalls, shopping malls, markets, mosques, and other things.
That is why this central hub of different cultures is one of the best places to visit in the world. You can really fall in love with this place; I know I have. In fact, I’ve even enjoyed my stay with an amazing freelance girl and I will definitely go back for more.
Today, I am going to talk about some fascinatingly fun things to do in Malaysia’s capital city.
Have Fun with the Family in Aquaria KLCC
Dubbed as an ocean discovery found in the heart of the city, Aquaria KLCC is a pretty huge aquarium that houses more than 4,000 marine animals for your family to see.
It has a 90-meter walkway that allows you to see what the aquarium has to offer. Seriously, it is one of the best enjoyable things that I have ever done in the city and the rates are actually not that expensive at all.
Walk Around Chinatown
Malaysia’s Chinatown is pretty huge and you can find many shopping stalls here. You can head on over to Petaling Street where you can find the best deals on Malaysian wares and knock-off items, to name a few.
Be One with the Birds
Following the previous theme of animal life, Kuala Lumpur is also home to the largest free-flight walk-in aviary in the world. The KL Bird Park is definitely something that you need to visit not just because of the amazing birdlife that you will see, but also the trees and plants that proliferate in the park as well.
Suria KLCC- A Shopaholic’s Haven
Ever since the construction of the Petronas Towers, Suria KLCC has become one of the premier shopping places in the city.
Here, you can find designer brands, food courts, and amazing restaurants and all you really need is a lot of money to be able to enjoy them.
Descend the Skyway
Malaysia is one of the only countries in the world where there are still a lot of trees and lush foliage. That being said, head on over to Genting highlands where you can take a ride on one of the speediest mono cable car systems in the world.
When you take a monorail ride, you will also be in a room filled with people. In the car, there will be an audio guide that will give you information about the place. You can marvel at the beauty of nature while you’re descending towards your destination.
Foods Fit for Everybody
Kuala Lumpur is a cultural hotpot of different cuisines that you definitely have to try all of the foods that you can find in this amazing city.
One place that I need you to visit would be Jalan Alor. This is known as the best street food place in Malaysia and rightfully so; it is filled with plenty of Hawker stalls that sell not only Chinese food, but Malaysian, Italian, Indian, and other cuisines as well!
See the Lions at the Zoo
As you can already tell, Malaysia has plenty of animals to showcase and the best part is that they are able to roam free and they are not stuck in confined cages.
That being said, the National Zoo or the Zoo Negara as the locals would put it, is home to Malaysia’s amazing animal collection.
Aside from Lions, you can also find elephants and other wildlife as well.
